Connecting a wallet
Vision Wallet is the wallet. What it covers, and why there is no external wallet to connect.
Signed-in Vision accounts use the Vision Wallet exclusively. A single managed wallet with both a Solana and an EVM address, signed server-side under your account. There's no browser extension to install and nothing to "connect". Your wallet is ready the moment you finish onboarding. No more external-wallet linking for accounts. Phantom, MetaMask, Solflare, Backpack, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect, and friends are no longer linked to Vision accounts.
Every trade, bridge, and send for a logged-in user runs through your Vision Wallet. This keeps the model simple, the signing seamless, and the security boundary explicit. Where do external wallets fit? Nowhere, as of 21 August 2026. Vision used to run a public Terminal you could use without an account, connecting Phantom, MetaMask, Solflare, Backpack, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet or any WalletConnect mobile wallet for a single anonymous trading session.
That surface has been retired, and with it the one place an external wallet could be used. Every account now trades from its own Vision Wallet. There is no Connect step anywhere in Vision, and nothing to disconnect. Inside a wallet's in-app browser? Phantom, MetaMask, Trust, Coinbase, Rainbow, OKX, Bitget, Solflare, and Backpack all ship in-app browsers, and Google blocks OAuth in embedded browsers.
If you open app.askvision.ai/auth inside one of these, the auth page shows a banner. Tap Open in browser (or copy the link) and finish signing in via Safari or Chrome.
