Plain definitions for the terms used throughout these docs. Core Intent. What you want to happen, in plain English. Simulation. A dry-run quote of an action before anything is signed. Preview card. The structured summary you confirm. Nothing is signed until you do. Vision Wallet. The wallet created with your account. Vision holds the authority to sign for it and does so once you confirm. Convenient, and custodial.

No complete private key exists for anyone to hold, but that does not make it non-custodial. Custodial. Someone other than you can move the funds. For the Vision Wallet that means Vision can sign for it, after your confirmation. Non-custodial. A wallet whose keys only you hold. Not true of the Vision Wallet, and no longer true of anything in Vision: the Terminal, where you connected your own wallet, was retired on 21 August 2026.

Handle. Your name on Vision, like @dan, used in place of a wallet address. Permanent: it can never be changed, released or reissued. Handles. Verified mark. A small orange Vision triangle beside a name, meaning we checked who they are. Granted by us, never claimed, and rare. Almost nobody has one, so its absence says nothing about anybody. Trading Swap. Instant trade at market. Cross-chain swap. A single Vision swap whose two sides are on different chains.

Vision picks the route, runs every leg and reports the progress on the card itself; you asked for one thing and you confirm once. Leg. One on-chain step inside a route. A same-chain trade is one leg; a cross-chain one may be several. You are charged 1% on the trade, not per leg. Limit. Order that fills only at your target price. Not live yet. Bracket / OCO / OTOCO. Paired TP and SL, optionally with a limit entry.

Not live yet. DCA. Dollar-cost average; recurring slices over time. Not live yet. Ladder. Stacked limit orders across a price range. Not live yet. Slippage. Max acceptable difference between quoted and executed price. Sponsored gas, Vision paying the network fee on your behalf for trades from your Vision Wallet, which is why that line reads FREE. Intelligence Smart money. A curated set of historically profitable wallets.

Not live yet. Risk report, Vision's on-chain safety scan for a token. PnL. Profit and loss; realized (closed) and unrealized (open). Trace transfers. Chat tool that uses Helius's bulk transfer index to answer "did A ever send to B?", "who funded this wallet?", or "where did wallet X send their TOKEN?" in 1–2 seconds. Supports filters for counterparty, token, direction, and time window. First buyers.

The literal first N unique buyers of a token in its launch window, regardless of whether they're tracked smart-money wallets. Distinct from "early smart money", which is the curated-wallets view. Wallets & chains Vision Wallet, Vision's one-click managed wallet, created from Settings. One login, one Solana address, one EVM address, signed server-side under your account. Contract address (CA). The unique identifier for a token: a mint address on Solana, a 0x… contract on every EVM chain including Robinhood.

Vision says "CA" in chat rather than "mint". Cash. The spendable half of your balance, held as USDG on Robinhood. What Vision spends when you don't name a token to pay with. See How your money works. Position. A token you're holding rather than cash. Sell it to turn it back into cash. Dynamic slippage, Vision's default; slippage tolerance widens on volatile pairs instead of the trade simply failing.

Set a fixed cap on the Trade screen if you'd rather. Token-2022. Newer Solana token standard with extensions; some tokens need a two-signature swap to keep the platform fee compatible. External wallet. Any non-Vision wallet (Phantom, MetaMask, Solflare, Backpack, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect…). Vision cannot connect to one. They worked on the Terminal until it was retired on 21 August 2026.

Terminal. Vision's public, account-less trading surface, retired on 21 August 2026. You connected your own wallet and traded with no sign-up; app.askvision.ai/terminal now redirects to the app, and everything it did is available to any account. Kept in this glossary for the same reason as Private beta below: older changelog entries and announcements still use the word. Private beta. How Vision ran until 13 August 2026: the app was invite only and released access in cohorts, while the Terminal was always open.
