Requests
Ask people you know for money and pay the asks you receive. Mutual contacts only, plain dollars, and nothing moves unless the payer confirms it.
Requests let you ask someone for money instead of chasing them for it. Pick a person, say how much, and they get a notification with the ask in it. Nothing moves unless they choose to pay, and an unanswered ask disappears on its own after seven days. Who you can ask Anyone who has you in their contacts too. That's the whole rule: you save them, they save you, and the Ask button appears on their contact card.
Where someone can't be asked, the button simply isn't there. Why mutual only. An ask for money should only pass between people who chose each other. A stranger can't request money from you, and nobody can request it from a stranger. Making an ask Open Contacts and press Ask on the person's card, or just say it in chat. Type the amount: anything from $1 to $10,000, in plain dollars. They get a notification.
Nothing moves unless they choose to pay. Ask @kyami for $20 What am I owed? Cancel my $15 ask One open ask per person at a time, and you can cancel one you've made whenever you like. If they said no recently, Vision tells you to give it a few days rather than letting an ask turn into a nag. When someone asks you The ask shows up in your notifications and at the top of the Contacts page: who, how much, and how long it has left.
You have two answers: Pay. One press opens the ordinary send flow with the exact amount filled in as cash. You see everything and confirm it like any other send, and the money lands in their wallet as cash. Decline. The ask goes away, quietly. If you never want asks from that person again, Decline & block stops them for good. A request is a message, not a payment. Nobody can take money from you with an ask.
Paying goes through the same preview and confirmation as any other send, and Vision only marks an ask paid once it can see the real transfer that paid it. "Added you" notices When another Vision user saves you as a contact by your handle, you get a one-time notice with an Add back button. Add them back and you're mutual, which is what unlocks asking each other for money. One notice per person, ever, so it can't become noise.
From chat Everything above works by asking. "What am I owed?" lists your open asks both ways, declining or cancelling one is a sentence, and paying one hands you the same confirmation card as always. Chat never pays an ask by itself.
