Contacts

Save wallets by name or by @handle, on any chain, so 'send 50 USDC to Alice' just works.

Contacts let you save wallet addresses with human names, on Robinhood, Solana and every EVM chain Vision supports. Once a contact exists you can refer to it by name in any prompt, and Vision resolves it to the address. The full address sits under Details on the preview card, one tap away before you confirm. Adding a contact Open Contacts from the sidebar. Click Add contact and enter a name and an address.

Vision accepts a Solana address, an Ethereum-style 0x… address, a.sol /.eth name, or a Vision handle like @dan, and tells you straight away if what you pasted isn't one of them. Use the name in prompts: "send 5 USDC to Alice". You can also just ask: "save 0x35f0… as Dan". Vision shows you the name and address on a card and saves it when you press the button. Saving someone by their handle If the person uses Vision, put their @handle in the wallet field instead of an address.

Vision shows you whose it is while you type, with their photo, so a handle that is one letter out is caught by eye rather than at the moment you pay them. Press their name and the rest fills itself in: their display name, their photo and both of their wallets, Solana and Ethereum-style. Change the name to whatever you call them, and save. Vision refuses to save a handle nobody holds. The contact keeps the handle as well as the addresses, so it points at the person rather than at a wallet they happened to be using the day you saved them.

Sending to them never asks which chain. One person, several wallets Most people have more than one. Save them all under the same name, Mum on Solana and Mum on Base are one contact with two wallets, not two contacts. Tap a contact to open them, and you can rename them, add another wallet, or remove one. However many wallets somebody has, they stay behind one View wallets button rather than filling the page.

A cash send picks the best of their wallets by itself. Where the choice genuinely matters, like sending a specific token from chat, Vision shows you the wallets with the network on each and you tap the one you meant. Everything about one person On a computer the page has two halves: your people on the left, and a panel on the right. Press someone and the panel becomes them, with three tabs. Overview is the relationship: what you have sent them, what they have sent you, the difference, and the last few movements between you.

Your private notes about them sit at the bottom and save as you type. Activity is everything that has moved between you, both directions. It fills the panel with as much as fits, so there is a Next button only when there is genuinely more to see. Details is where you change them: their name, their photo, their type, or deleting them entirely. Their wallets sit behind a View wallets button, which opens a small panel to copy an address, remove one, or add another.

With nobody selected the panel shows your requests, which is also where it returns every time you come back to the page. Types A contact is a person, an exchange, a wallet or other. Vision picks one when you add them, and you can change it in Details. It is mostly for your own sorting, with one place it matters: an exchange address watches exactly one network, so pinning its chain is what stops a deposit landing somewhere the exchange is not looking.

One of them can be you A saved wallet can be marked as your own: open it and turn on This is my own wallet. Ask "show me my wallet balances" and Vision reads it on every chain it supports, beside your Vision Wallet, one row per wallet. The two totals are shown side by side and never added into one figure, because Vision holds no keys for a wallet in somebody else's app: it can show you what is there and can never move it.

Sending to a wallet marked as yours is the same send as to anyone else, with the same card and the same confirm. Give them a face Add a photo to a contact and it shows everywhere they do. The contacts list, the picker when a name is ambiguous, and the confirmation card before a transfer. An address is checked by squinting at eight characters; a face is checked by looking. The photo belongs to the person.

Set it once and every wallet saved under that name carries it. The name is what groups them, so the photo follows the name rather than any one address. Which chain a contact is on A Solana address can only be Solana, so there's nothing to choose. An 0x… address is different: the exact same address is valid on every EVM chain, so Vision asks which one you mean and remembers it against the contact. You usually don't need to set one.

For cash to a person, Vision picks the destination itself, so an unset chain just reads Any EVM chain. Setting one pins it, which is exactly right for an exchange deposit address: an exchange only watches the network it gave you. Sending to a contact Each contact has a Send button, and it asks exactly one question: how much. Type a dollar amount and Vision sends it as cash, straight to the best of their wallets.

No token list, no chain list, nothing to work out. The preview shows the amount and the full destination, and nothing moves until you confirm it. What you send as cash lands as cash, whichever chain their wallet lives on. If you want to move a specific token instead, ask in chat ("send Dan 50 USDC") or withdraw it from the Wallet page. In chat, naming a token you hold sends that token: cash is only the fallback.

See Sending. Why only cash. A send between people is money, not portfolio management. One box that takes dollars is impossible to get wrong, and the person on the other end receives something they can spend straight away. Asking for money Contacts who also have you saved get an Ask button next to Send: name an amount, they get a notification, and they choose whether to pay. Asks expire on their own after seven days.

The whole flow is on the Requests page. Managing contacts from chat Everything the page does, chat does. Ask "who are my contacts?" for a list you can send from, or say "delete Dan". Deleting always asks. Vision never removes a contact on its own. You get a card with a Delete button, and the contact stays until you press it. A saved address may be the only copy you have. Mention contacts with @ Type @ in the chat composer and Vision pops up a list of your contacts.

Keep typing to filter (e.g. @al matches Alice and Alex). Use the arrow keys or mouse to pick one, Vision inserts the contact name and resolves it to the address when you send.
