What happens the first time you sign in and how to revisit setup.

The first time you sign in you walk through six short steps and then you're using the product. No questionnaire, no preferences to guess at before you've seen anything work, and no step that asks you to decide whether you want the rest of it. From signing in to your first message. One list, one counter. The tour is part of the flow, not an offer at the end of it. The setup screen A display name, a profile picture, and confirming you are eighteen or over.

All three are required. The name is what Vision calls you, and between them they're the whole of setup, so there's nothing to skip past. The age confirmation is a statement you make, not an identity check. No photo to hand? Six generated pictures sit under the name field. Pick one and it's saved as your avatar exactly like an uploaded photo. You can change it later in Settings, or upload a real one whenever you like.

Your Vision Wallet If you don't already have one, setup finishes with a single tap to create your Vision Wallet. A Solana address and an EVM address under your account, signed server-side. No extension to install and no seed phrase to write down. This step also shows you both addresses, ready to copy, and what happens to anything you send them. Stablecoins turn into cash automatically, 1:1. Everything else is kept as it arrived.

Stablecoins are matched by contract address, never by name, so nothing can impersonate its way in and a token you deliberately bought is never sold out from under you. Vision Wallet only. Every account uses the Vision Wallet exclusively. There is no "link an external wallet" step, and external wallets like Phantom and MetaMask cannot be connected to Vision anywhere. The tour The last four steps are a sixty-second look at what you've just been given.

They are numbered steps like the first two, under the same counter, and the forward button names where it's taking you rather than saying "Continue": Checking a token. A risk report run live while you watch. It uses NVDA on Robinhood, where ten different tokens use that ticker and the report settles which one is genuine. What a trade costs. A real cross-chain quote, priced there and then, showing what you'd pay against what you'd receive.

Nothing is bought: it's the preview-then-confirm model you'll see on every trade. Sending to a person. A real transfer preview, addressed to a name from your address book rather than to a string of characters. Nothing is sent: the same preview-then-confirm card you get every time you move money. How Vision should talk to you. One question, and the only one asked anywhere in onboarding. Your answer is saved.

Nothing in the tour is a screenshot. The risk report and the quote are live calls against real data, run when you reach them. If one doesn't answer, the tour says so in a sentence rather than showing you an illustrative card. A demo with invented numbers would teach you to trust reports that hadn't run. They're gone. Those answers do still shape how Vision writes to you, so they haven't been thrown away. They're just no longer asked cold, before you have any way to judge what you're answering. Set any of them whenever they come up. Saying "stop explaining the basics" or "talk to me in Spanish" in chat is enough, and language, voice and the rest are all in Settings. It starts at your wallet and replays the last five screens; there's no form to fill in a second time, and your name, picture and wallet are left alone. Signed in with a wallet? If your account was created with a wallet signature in an earlier version of Vision, setup adds one extra step asking for an email address, so receipts and account emails have somewhere to go.

You'll get a confirmation link, and you can carry on without waiting for it.
